Apologies if there’s already a thread for this game.

Apologies for starting this thread for what will be a shite, and for Hearts pointless, game.

After crushing the all conquering Killie will Aberdeen kick on and push for 2nd?

Will Hearts continue our ten year trend of being shite away from home when in the rope league?

Despite this being “a home game” for me, I expect I’ll watch it in the pub with my mates. I might go along though.

It’s okay, I’m no Rodger...even if we get a skelping I’ll leave the thread open for all to enjoy.

ETA: would take 0-0.

Oh sorry

I didn’t realise you thought watching Hearts was supposed to be about enjoying yourself.

Friday nights are about enjoying myself. Watching us is not conducive to that. You see my predicament.

I hope McLean remains deployed in a more advanced role, trying to ensure that May doesn't become isolated. Also, keeping Ball in a holding midfield role should, on paper, give Shinnie license to roam more freely and offer the centre-backs another layer of protection. Considine in for Reynolds at left-back is a near certainty, but I'm not sure whether I want to see many other changes from Saturday - perhaps Mackay-Steven in for Stewart to give us more width and pace, but only if he is fully fit.

Any win will do, but I fear either a 0-0 or Lafferty or Naismith nicking it for Hearts in the dying embers.

A goal would be nice against Hearts this season! Hopefully 3 points to keep at least 3 points ahead of Hibs and also go back into 2nd place.

Surprised this game is live on TV as Hearts have nothing to play and most times the Aberdeen vs Hearts isn't a good game to watch - should have had next week game Live on TV as this European race is very tight.

The ref for Friday game is Andrew Dallas assisted by Douglas Ross and Andrew McWilliam.

It’s heart warming to know you’ll be watching though.

I’m disappointed this thread wasn’t called Aberdeen 0-0 Hearts - “Shitfest”.
It seemed an obvious title to me, so I’m surprised NJ2 didn’t go for it.

I like to keep you on your toes.
Ps, I don’t think it’ll be 0-0...can’t see is scoring right enough

Aberdeen win. We'll pump them with our front three of Sammon, MacLean and Ikpeazu, though.

0-0 or 1-0 Hearts as that's generally how it tends to go when Hearts have anything approaching a half competent manager in the dugout.
