If his family didn’t settle in Ayr/Glasgow can you image how they’ll feel about West Lothian or Dundee 😂

Would say he is an all round striker, strong in the air, good with the ball, does a ton of running and can finish.

He only scored one headed goal last season.

He drops deep and wins a lot of the long balls punted up to him, whether he brings it down via his chest or wins a flick on into the channel.  Not just necessarily  headed goals.

Also, won loads from opposition corners.

So we've got money coming in for Anderson and Nouble it looks like.

Dipo Akinyemi, talk to me. Style of play? etc...

I’d say Dipo is in the Lawrence Shankland division . Maybe just a little bit south of the great man on class and attitude but a pretty good operator nevertheless . Scares centre half’s and can shoot with either foot . If you can play him in a two up top you’ll see the best of him .

To be fair he could choose to stay in Edinburgh, at least it's not too far :D

TBF a move to Livi would be a good one for him if he can get over his wish to go back up the road.

The move down the road patter , is a nice to have , if a team in Iceland offer him £3k a week then he’s off up there . Everyone has a number in mind …

From the sounds of it we probably have between 800k-1m coming in for Nouble and Anderson hopefully so I don't imagine a fee would be a pain to agree in some form.

Main issue will be wages I reckon, depends if we can sell it to him as a stepping stone to get to upper Championship level down south and far better wages down the line. Sounds like our kind of striker though

He'll do well for you as long as you let him attend the family sports day

Bullen in the AP saying he wants another 4 in this window. A full back, wide player and a striker were mentioned so I presume the last one will be looked at if and when Dipo leaves.

"A" fullback is slightly concerning, as both full backs need improvement.

I trust McAllister at RB more than Reading at LB, but given we don't really have an out and out RB in the squad I think that's what we'll see signed.

Hopefully Ecrepont gets a chance and does well if that's the case.

McCallister is an Ok right back but I wouldn't say he was a top half, championship right back based on last season.

Bangala was horrific last season, Hewitt was marginally worse.

Ecripont has had a long time to break through, showed promise in one game at right back but was dreadful in the next, I would prioritise him over Reading in pre-season and if he's not capable, we will have to spend some of the Dipo money on a good one.

Reading has got worse in the last year, at the midway point I'd say he was unlucky due to formation but in the latter part of the season he just jogged backwards, escorting attacking players in to the box before flinging a leg out in the hope of blocking a cross.

Wonder if these four signings he wants are loans or permanent deals, can't see us going for a LB unless one of Redding or Ecropoint moves on, trying to get Liam Smith in at RB is a no brainer for me, still young at 27, plenty of experience at this level arguably the best full back in the championship when he was in it, knows how to win this league and knows the club.
