Richey Edwards
Chris Maguire currently winning the battle of the former Ayr United strikers after putting Eastleigh 1-0 up against York City.

Seems to actually play for them tbf. Will forever hold it against him and his wage thiefing antics, never turned out for Ayr at all and his attempt at a 'World Beating' penalty against Falkirk sums up his time at Ayr.

I'd managed to forget about that penalty. Thanks for the reminder.

mugen_power
1.33 ppg is mid-table mediocrity over the last few seasons, most of us would take that right now after the way things have been going lol

Nelson
Mental that our best signings seem to be the ones that we made in a blind panic at the end of August! So much for plans and spreadsheets..
Shibuya
Ahui is the best boy.
No_Problemo
Yeah, fair play to Ahui. Other than a couple of dodgier moments towards the end he played well - some amount of mental toughness to come back from his start with us, especially at his age.

diegomarahenry
Hearing about what McPake is like, it looks like he had a tantrum and started making subs. I’m sure his players will have their phones off till Monday now.
ayrunitedfw
Struggling to think of words to describe Logan Chalmers at this stage to be honest. He is so, so good. Offer Dundee United what they want for him in January and get him on a 2+ year deal.

You’ve got to hope the club have arranged something in January when they agreed the original deal judging by the comments that they would have preferred a sale rather than a loan.

I doubt we’d have signed Syla, Senga or Young if Murdoch and Dempsey hadn’t been injured and Pendlebury hadn’t chucked it. Pendlebury going was probably a blessing in disguise.
diegomarahenry
Regardless of how results go over the next two months, it could all be undone by the loan players we have leaving. It would be good to have some of that sorted in the coming weeks

That team today all of a sudden losing Dowds Chalmers and Senga instantly goes from playoff contenders to how many points off 9th are we
