Shit draw. If you're going to get a club like Hibs, you want them away from home to get a slice of that big gate receipt.

A home tie is just a scudding Infront of mostly Hibs fans & neutrals.

I’d take a scudding in front of any c**t if there was potentially 2k people paying 15-20 quid a head there

Really could of done without this interview tbh.

Known board member asking the questions and agreeing with ray that we deserved to win yesterday is not a good look. It really doesn't dissuade the opinion that the club are happy to continue and enable ray.

Deserved to win....🤔😆 I suppose we all know someone with the sky blue specs on!!

On the way home from Tranent on Saturday and realised Ferguson never got used from the bench again. (rightly so)

Got me thinking, did anyone even see him play before we took him on loan?

If they did, wtf did they see that made them think he can do a job for us?

And if they didn't watch him, why did he go straight into our starting 11 at the time?

Surely he's going to be sent back to Newcastle come January?

Surely the bigger question is why did a giant like Newcastle United sign him in the first place, don’t tell me because of his dad, that holds no weight, plenty footballers have kids that are not players or are nowhere near the quality of their parent.

It's got to be his Dad, no way he should be anywhere near football at that level.

Delusional if he really thought that Forfar deserved to win the game, with the budget he's working with, Forfar shouldn't be languishing in the lower echelon's of League 2.

There wasn't a lot between the teams but Tranent played the better football and created the better chances.

His style of football would make your eyes bleed.

Good luck to the Loon fans, its a great draw for the club.

You'd hope so but with ray being his dad's mate you wonder if he does him a favour and keeps him around in Scotland.

Exactly this.

Initially I thought Big Dunc was doing Ray a favour giving us his talented son for a season. Now it’s pretty clear Ray is doing Dunc the favour.

One thing those 2 cup games have shown us, is that there is very little between the bottom clubs in Div 2 and the better teams in the Highland and Lowland leagues. We should all feel extremely grateful to be facing a top side at Station Park for once, maybe we deserve it after missing out on 2 decent crowds during covid. Hibs were poor that evening, just one lapse cost us but can see a different game altogether next time.

Absolutely, the extra money from progression to this round, bit of a bigger crowd and extra hospitality should be a nice bonus for the club. Hopefully league position will be less tenuous by the time the cup game comes around.

I could copy and paste this onto our thread 😂

Just hoping with McCall we’ve got someone who can actually sign a decent player.

We're not really in a position to judge...

Whilst they don't score loads, they've scored more than us.

Fixed it for you 😁

Goal scoring has been a problem for the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park men, their leading scorer Stuart Morrison having netted five in competitive fixtures, former "Blue Brazil" striker Josh Skelly having found the net four times.
