smpar Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Can’t argue with that tbf. I’d rate Gaston as a better ‘keeper purely based on what I’ve seen of him compared to Alexander.Seems like a good c**t, too.

MacArab Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Can we have a United player on the bench please? Skippy? - 2nd top scorer this season.* Or is he just too fucking irritating to have in the squad. *ETA - which isn’t too bad given the shite he had around about him.
19QOS19 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 McDonald can probably feel hard done by there. He was anonymous in the games I saw him but a striker's job is to score goals and he was the best in the league excluding God. I can't recall Polworth but I only saw ICT once last season. Higginbotham getting 10 from midfield is a decent return so I suppose he could have been in with a shout there as well. Can't argue with the rest. McGinn and Harkins put in the best 2 perfomances from CM against us. I just hope this time next season Harkins is listed again.
Dunning1874 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 That seems reasonable to me. In the PFA one I couldn't read beyond the centre backs due to the tears of laughter at O'Ware being in it. Not even the best centre back for the team who finished seventh.
Poet of the Macabre Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Ashcroft fully deserves the spot. Pars had the best defensive record in the league and he was the main constant at the back. No United players even though they were 3rd. Seems a bit strange to have a Morton player in when they finished 7th.
HoBNob Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 That wouldn't be to far away from the team I'd pick, I can't think of anyone I'd have in there over the players listed. Scott McDonald over Clark?

Unfortunately the PFA don't seem to have posted it anywhere, but going by clubs who have congratulated their own players who were included it seems Wiki is actually correct for each division: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PFA_Scotland_Team_of_the_Year For those who can't be arsed following the link: Neil Alexander Ryan Williamson - Craig Halkett - Thomas O'Ware - Liam Smith Cammy Smith - Stephen McGinn - Iain Vigurs Gavin Reilly - Stephen Dobbie - Lewis Morgan
