He wouldn't spend £35000 on a chug. Triple cooked chips and double dipped fish is a different story tho

That’s you both had a name check on Tam’s instagram story lads!

I think you're right there. I've always found that sort of musical tribalism somewhat unhealthy. I have an older cousin who was/is a punk. For him the world stopped musically in 1977.  He still refuses to listen to anything else.

Was much the same until my early 20s. Still don't like much pre-1977 bar some old folk tunes.

Thought I'd moved away from this tribalism totally, as a middle-aged man, until I saw Rick Wakeman twice in one night. One with my auld dear on some quiz show and then an hour later while watching episode 2 of Danny Boyle's excellent Pistol series.  Punk would only have been better had Malcolm Maclaren had the courage of his convictions and fed that cretin to the fishes.

Haha! Nearest I got my cousin to listen to anything that wasn't punk was introducing him to early Metallica which he liked cos it was fast and angry and they would cover tracks by the Misfits, Ramones and Discharge. But that was a one off and he still reverts back to the Pistols, Ramones, Clash, Exploited (he knows Wattie) etc. Pretty much hates everything else.

My boys are having none of it. They've grown up hearing everything from Crass and Bad Religion to the Clash to Christy Moore to Royskopp and old Runrig. They still prefer the bland stuff of the radio though.  My youngest does sing along to Jimmy Cliff's cover of Guns of Brixton though, so there is hope.

When reminiscing about the opening ceremony of the Glasgow Commonwealth games, they at first called John Barrowman 'Michael Barrowman' before then going on to refer to him as 'Michael Barrymore'.

What did Cosgrove say about Zeppelin?

He was talking to some techno DJ and was deep in the midst of asking him about BPMs and why he wasn't called "Fatboy slim or some other "DJ name" before revealing he's  played some "cool" soul set and had got pissed off "by the punters" so he pulled led Zeppelin iv "out the gatefold" even though it's not a double album as far as I'm aware.  Even the techno DJ asked him if he played "the full stairway to heaven" and he shut his pus.

To be fair without tam and it was "isa from still game" as the guest it was still better than the usual output.

Was last Saturdays show if you want to listen again on BBC sounds.

I'm sure gatefold just means it opens out not that it's a double LP.
