Guest
What a game a Wrexham. Always, tremendously funny that they gubbed it after spaffing millions

Brummie Clyde
Really hope Solihull Moors can beat Chesterfield tomorrow. For one thing, I think they deserve promotion, after coming close a few times already. For another, I'd quite like Walsall to not feel like the minnows of the West Midlands for once. Obviously they would still have to beat Grimsby in the Final. Edited May 28, 2022 by Brummie Clyde
Charles Stiles
The Wrexham v Grimsby game was something else. A real throwback. Keepers booting the ball up the pitch, long throw ins, absolutely awful defending on both sides, goals, lead frequently changing hands and players more interested in playing than creating social media moments. Great stuff. Didn't realise just how unlikeable Wrexham had become though. Now the plaything for a couple of Yank 'celebrities' you of course got numerous, boring shots of them showing what great fans they are. Two of their goals coming from diving for the penalty then punching it into the net for another made it very sweet when Grimsby nicked it right at the end when everyone was expecting penalties. Best game of football for years.
The Master
Solihull Moors v Chesterfield already 1-1 after 15 minutes. Here’s hoping it’s as brilliant as yesterdays game. Spoiler Cue the rest of the game being dire and we get a winner 1-0 on penalties after 20 kicks each

Reveal hidden contents Cue the rest of the game being dire and we get a winner 1-0 on penalties after 20 kicks each Unsurprisingly not unfortunately. It was OK but suffered from following on from the Wrexham Grimsby match. Talking of suffering, Adam Summerton, the guy that does most of BT's National league games, really is one of, if not the, worst comms guys around. He genuinely witters away in his little flat, monotone voice spouting the biggest amount of irrelevant facts and info possible for about 98% of a game. Adam Virgo's decent enough when he's allowed to speak for the other 2%. I've muted him for a while and usually play music but wanted the Wrexham atmosphere on Saturday so had to put up with him. It was just a reminder of how awful he is.
Ivo den Bieman
Andrew Dallas on target for the Moors too. Had forgotten about him- he did OK at Stenny a while back on loan before being released by The The The Rangers. I wonder if they'll sneak promotion and if Grimsby have anything left in the tank after that extraordinary match against Hollywood Wrexham. Solihull have problems though- their ground is very much on the small side and they will be turfed out of it in the next 3 seasons to make way for the expansion of the neighbouring Jaguar Land Rover plant. Grimsby very much more a 'traditional' league club and likely to be a bit more stable in the medium term.
Brummie Clyde
Solihull Moors haven't existed for that long. A merger between Solihull Borough and Moor Green, the latter's ground was burnt down by arsonists. Ian Taylor played for Moor Green. Tbh, think Moors will be favourites.
The Master
The London Stadium was a terrible choice of venue for this final in the first place, but it being half-way through conversation to “athletics mode” makes it even worse. It’s like a building site.
oneteaminglasgow
Good goal for Solihull there. Thst striker must be near enough 7 foot tall
Jacksgranda
According to the BBC it's 1-0 Grimsby (despite the fact the scorer is credited to Solihull) ETA: They have it fixed now. ETA: Now they've scrapped the score altogether, just the live text. ETA: Eventually they reinstated the score, but the time was stuck at 81 minutes, even when extra time started. Now they have the final score as Solihull Moors 2 Grimsby 1, despite showing Grimsby having two scorers! I'd expect West to be removed in the near future, job done. Still, it'll now forever be known as the Rose West Stand until Southend move to their super duper new stadium, probably about the same time as Aberdeen and Dundee move to theirs.
