Knowing the lyrics to "C'mon you Reds" by Status Quo was a big help there.

Never realised that was by Status Quo.

Kind of sums up what they were (and still are) about that they didn't use a Manchester band. It's not like there's a shortage of them.

It was also a rewrite of another Quo song, rather than something original

Can you name all the players used by Fergie in his title wins at United?

I got 59, including a couple of obscure ones, and as usual missed some really obvious ones.

I think I got to about 40, tried spelling Ruud van Nistlerooy and Tomasz Kuszscak (still getting them wrong there I think!) about a dozen different ways which were all rejected and then gave up in a huff.

Bit premature but least the fans have a sense of humour.

Keegan rumoured to return in ambassador capacity.

£340M/20 would be about £17M per club (if the losses are spread evenly across the league), but the article says the figure could end up higher than that. Some of the bigger boys can afford to eat shit on that sort of money I guess but there's a lot of cash at stake if they can't get matches back on safely and soon.

I don't think its going to happen given the govt announcement of no elite level sport before 01/06/2020 in the UK, think another beeb article said it'd cost about £30,000 a week to do all the required testing planned to get matches back on and they'd be open to attack for buying up testing resources for the sake of holding football matches:

"For the Premier League to complete the remaining 92 matches, that could be about 40,000 tests at a cost of about £30,000 a week."

Hard to say it this will go anywhere, but hopefully the Saudis get told to GTF here.

Quite sad that with everything we know about the Saudis, the only thing that might torpedo the deal is a breach of broadcasting regulations.
