cmontheloknow
Jeezo, pre season friendy. May as well be Carling Cup for all its relevance.
Gordopolis
Easy to be cynical, but remember Chelsea have a transfer embargo in place. Lampard is clearly trying out the best young talent he has to see who might step up. No guarantee Gilmour will show up well enough but it's a great opportunity.

If he wins world footballer of the year having played for Chelsea, Barcelona and Milan, the Daily Record wil still refer to him as 'ex gers prospect'

Next year we should have. Liverpool: Robertson A. Man Utd: McTominay, McGinn Chelsea: Gilmour Arsenal: Tierney Dunno would Man City take a punt on anyone Scottish? Maybe Brophy at Killie? Is Brophy not cup tied for the Europe now? Reason Stevie May was not playing for Aberdeen the other night, I think they will go for him, if Ross County don't outbid them.

Kuro
On the bench tonight, a great sign. Still miles away but shows he's very highly thought of.

We can actually, given he turned 18 about 7 weeks ago and is on the bench at the current Europa League champions and a top four EPL side, we know he's obviously very good and very highly regarded by them.

GordonS
They were saying on 5 Live before the game today that Lampard and Jody Morris really rate him, and he's highly regarded at Cobham. Promising.
