Calling it now, this is going to be one of the best derbies in recent memory. Absolutely brutal football but I’m expecting right guid kicking match, plenty blood, hopefully some thunder. If we lose and that’s the end for Levein (should he still be in seat) then I’ll take some remorse in that.

Can we make just this game 0-0 and refund everyone who has a ticket for this pish.

I can never want us to lose a derby but the spoils are there for the team who do lose - surely the final nail in whichever managers coffin.

I've agreed to a ticket in the home end for some reason - so many complicated feelings next weekend.

Fucking shambles on both sides of the city. Embarrassing with the money being spent.

100% this.  Both Edinburgh clubs are in their best positions in at least 10 years to build something special and long-term having completed required spending on huge infrastructure projects.  Both clubs going backwards where it matters most despite shelling out over the summer. Grim.

Both sets fans to unite and treat East Edinburgh to a 20,000-strong chorus of 'You're getting sacked in the morning'.

We can alternate between “hecky, get tae f**k” and “specky, get tae f**k”. It’ll be beautiful.

Can’t wait to hear this.

I know we have been poor but think we'll edge Hearts here and put poor old Craig out of his misery. Not that I think Hecky is much better or anything.

Think there's more chance of me sleeping with Margot Robbie than us beating Hearts.

We will 100% lose this. Hearts might have been shite so far but I guarantee we’ve been worse.

Naismith back for them and it could be 3/4-0. We have absolutely nothing about us once we go a goal down.

After an eye bleeding, goalless 90 minutes that sees BT sport face censure from the authorities for broadcasting before the 9pm watershed, the realisation dawns on supporters that their manager will still be in a job come Monday morning.

Meanwhile, the camera pans to Dempster and Budge, wearing half and half scarves, laughing and joking in the directors box.

There's the flaw in your logic right there.
