Strange how the narrative can change so quickly. Alessio had supposedly lost the dressing room but now Killie are comfortably ahead of the Edinburgh sides. A seriously impressive defensive record is paying off.

Yeah, it was funny that as soon as Broadfoot left and spouted his piece in between mouthfuls of lego bricks the talk of any disquiet in the camp seemed to evaporate into the mist...

Good defensive signings from your coach have made a difference. Ok some on loan but if you get top 6 again no one will be complaining. I can see that happening unless the Edinburgh sides can turn things around quickly.

Honestlydon't see how the Hearts "support" can have a problem with Levein. Talk about ideas above your station?

Embarrassing.

Not sure if this is looking for bites, but I can understand why they would be pissed off at Levein.

Their support provides £1.5m a year in donations, never mind gate money and STs. This puts them comfortably above everyone except Rangers,Celtic, Aberdeen in income. Their player budget is probably 5 times that of some clubs in the division.

No matter which way you cut it, Hearts manager and recruitment have been dreadful and far short of what would reasonably be expected.

We all know that budget doesnt always = success, but when you underperform for such a long period, the fans are entitled to be seriously pissed off.

n.b You could cut and paste all that on to a Hibs thread as well, we are in exactly the same boat.

Hearts fans really are utter cretins. No respect to any other set of fans and expect their shit tip, patch work team to turn up to minnows like Killie and win easy.

Who was expecting us to beat Killie today? Hope maybe but no serious expectation. Maybe go for a beer and calm down? Your side won.

Heard the levein interview on the way home from the raith game. Oooft. Sounds like a man very much out of his depth. He's slating the players, but surely as the man that picks the team, surely the buck stops with him???

You would think so yet he appears to be bombproof, said it before but, with the level of financial support that the Hearts support give to the club, they are being taken for granted & it will eventually hit a tipping point. Genuinely feel sorry for them as they are being treated like absolute mugs.

Weird place to be as a Killie fan.

If we score first i’d always back us to win (or almost always, Celtic away for example i’d still think we’ll struggle) but no guarantee we’ll score.

Didnt see today’s game but as soon as we scored I was very confident we’d win.

Must be the team with the biggest disparity between our defence and attack? Our defending is class, but we don’t really have any creativity. Hoping St Clair provides that as the season goes on!

Edinburgh sides clearly having their own personal duel over who’s shittiest this season!

Anyway, who are the Hearts fans wanting as new manager?

oh come on mate, enough with this talk, Levein is doing a smashing job.

Levein blaming the players is the sign of someone losing it.  He picked the team, and he signed them all. Was it the players choice to play 3-5-2 with no actual strikers and 4 players out of position at the back? Fud.
