Tappy the Toon
Ended up 3-2 for Oakley.Cruising at 3-0 going into the last 15-20 mins, but 2 quick goals from Shippy had Oakley in panic mode and if it wasn't for an excellent save from the Oakley keeper at the death the points would've unexpectedly been shared.Good result for Oakley nonetheless, considering the squad's decimated at the moment.Only had 12 first teamers available, some carrying injuries and the bench made up of youngsters.Tough test next weekend at Ballast Bank against Inverkeithing.

lowenan
Still a big difference between the best teams, and the bottom teams. Two divisions would be good for the future.
HibeeJibee
Tweedmouth Rangers 6-1 Peebles Rovers Took a run down to Shielfield for what was 1 of only 3 games to survive on grass south of Aberdeen today (the others being Scottish Championship games at Morton and Partick). Battling a heavy park and torrential rain during 1st half conditions improved after the break. There was a good crowd of about 100 no doubt including good smattering of neutrals such as myself. Expecting no classic: Tweedmouth greatly impressed me. While little troubled in defence, their attack looked much better than I'd anticipated from a team with only 2 wins over Hawick to their name all season. They were better for most of the opening 45mins and scored twice shortly before the break - the first an overhit cross which sailed straight over the goalkeeper and in, the second a neat chip over the onrushing stopper after a man was left unmarked in the D. After the change of ends they were dominant and quickly went 4-0 up, before Peebles got a goal back, before adding a 5th, then 6th late-on. These included some lovely counter-attacks, passing moves and long-range efforts. Peebles were disappointing and only threatened for brief spells in both halfs. This was only the hosts 11th-ever win since joining 4yrs ago: Tynecastle 1-2 Tweedmouth (QL 2016-17) Tweedmouth 2-1 Heriot-Watt Uni (QL 2016-17) Burntisland 1-5 Tweedmouth (EOSL 2016-17) Tweedmouth 3-1 Peebles (EOSL 2016-17) Tweedmouth 2-1 Burntisland (EOSL 2016-17) Coldstream 1-3 Tweedmouth (EQC 2017-18) Tweedmouth 3-1 Ormiston (EOSL 2017-18) Peebles 1-2 Tweedmouth (Conference A 2018-19) Tweedmouth 4-3 Hawick (First Division Conference B 2019-20) Hawick 1-2 Tweedmouth (First Division Conference B 2019-20) Tweedmouth 6-1 Peebles (First Division Inter-Conference 2019-20) and surpasses that 5-1 victory v Burntisland in their debut campaign as their record win. It also matches their previous best of 3 league wins in 1 season and they've still 14 games left. With their next being Craigroyston (A) they'll hope to break that total. Leith will see it as more of a victory after being down to 10 men for 40+ minutes of the 2nd half following a sending off. EoS First Division Inter-Conference: Conf B v. andyeufc
Also went along to sheilfield today. Tweedmouth were very decent after the half hour mark. Up till then it was fairly even and a bit of a scrap. Went up via a cross and then scores quickly after that and Peebles heads dropped. Two quick goals after the break meant it was game over. Some lovely football played by Tweedmouth going forward especially considering the weather and pitch

Head-to-head score basically 'A' 6-5 'B' while your unofficial head-to-head table shows top 8 = 5/3... top 12 = 7/5... top 16 = 8/8. Hardly a chasm thusfar.

I'm not sure Eyemouth would of gotten 4 wins in the entirety of their Inter-Conference play, Kinnoull have done that in 5 games with their only loss being to Tynecastle.
HibeeJibee
Preston v St Andrews - abandoned by the ref last month due to a perceived fracas - has been dealt with by SFA, and decision is in Disciplinary Update section of their site. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish-fa/football-governance/disciplinary/disciplinary-updates/ Both were fined £250, with further £250 suspended to end of season. While no 2 panels act alike this case appears to have been less severe than Peebles v Easthouses last season where both were fined £750.

FairWeatherFan
Tynecastle are the only team left unbeaten in Inter-Conference play. St Andrews had gone into tonight's game 3 wins out of 3. Looking at Tynecastle's fixtures left they should be able to pull the unbeaten run. Dunipace toughest opponent, but Ormiston and Burntisland in particular are capable of an upset. 08/02 Ormiston (a) 22/02 Dunipace (h) Postponements ??/?? Burntisland Shipyard (a) ??/?? Craigroyston (a)
