NotThePars
If I wanted universal sympathy for my plight I would simply not be a high ranking member of the Conservative Party.
Guest Moomintroll
Then let them come to the fore. People will disagree about stuff. Who cares?I do, it will mean less nurses on the thread, fair point though, leave them to it until a Mod gets fed up with their antics.

Their whole ethos is based on "I'm alright Jack" along with their supporters. So sympathy is in short supply.

You should maybe have a look at the Boris Johnson thread - one poster saying that ‘Boris not being alive would be a good thing’, and another hoping he survives but is incapacitated. What a bunch the Nats are.

Even the greater good requires the odd casualty. -

What a bunch the Nats are. I just did and there isn't. EDIT - have scrolled back, and both of those are prior to him being admitted to intensive care, not since, which makes your point rather disingenuous. I suspect you know that and is why you didn't directly quote, as the quotes would be timestamped. Gaz
It's perfectly possible to find Johnson a morally repugnant individual with reprehensible politics and, at the same time, not wish him dead.

ford prefect
The Tories gave no fuxs about the misery and death their austerity policies have caused over the last ten years and throughout the 80s. Add that too their lying over Brexit, I will shed no tears for that idiot. Hopefully IDS is next
Inanimate Carbon Rod
The press are saying that he isnt on a ventilator, wifes been talking to a doctor friend who’s worked there that says the protocol in that hospital is for icu patients to be ventilated and that he could be treated on some kind of specialist respiratory ward if the no ventilator stuff is true. Think we are being drip fed lots of stuff that maybe might not be true by the government to reduce panic.

Especially with one or two posts on here regarding the news about boris. Even saying that they dont wish him dead but don't care if he does, is a bit much. How can you wish this on anyone who hasn't done you any intentional harm. Is politics now just football without the scars? Maybe I'm just getting older or not the type to not care about someone dying. Pretty shitty stuff posted here.
