Guest JTS98
Just saw something I haven't seen for weeks. I went to look at the Malay Mail website for a Covid update, and the top story was a non covid-19 story. It's like going back in time. A report about Chinese and Malaysian ships having a stand-off in the South China Sea. Maybe we can start a war to move the news cycle on a bit. Here's betting she goes clattering down the stairs and has to get helicoptered to hospital. Might give that a go, won't be telling anyone though. Not sure how to count the pitch and elevation to match my stairs with a real mountain though.
Billy Jean King
8 yo convicted sex offender WT actual F !!! Ok. But what about if the choice was a 50 year-old nurse who worked as an epidemiologist in his spare time or an 8 year-old convicted sex offender?

The only big non-Covid story here was the Alex Salmond trial. Now the Labour Party malarky has also sprung up.
Guest
Do the actual test figures being published by this country really mean that much ? I can see why mass testing (such as Germany) makes a huge difference, however what's the point in testing someone on the Monday and them being negative but then that very person catches it later that day / the next day ?? In the case of NHS and care workers I can see the above scenario actually occurring, irrespective of how ridiculous it may seem.

Reminds me of the old joke. Billy McNeil goes to see how his new signing is doing at training. He sees a guy being carried round the track and goes to investigate. He has a look and says... Fucksake, I told them to sign Rocastle, no' Roy Castle.
superbigal
Belgium has the highest number of daily coronavirus deaths per head of population of any country in the world - but ministers say this is only because they are being more transparent with their data. The European nation had reported 4,857 deaths from coronavirus as of Thursday, an increase of 417 in 24 hours, despite having a relatively small population of 11.6million people. But, unlike many of its European neighbours, it is counting deaths outside of hospital and deaths where the patient had coronavirus symptoms but had not been tested in those figures. These deaths account for almost half of Belgium's total, meaning that the true scale of coronavirus deaths in other countries could be double the official figures if that trend is replicated elsewhere.

A 99 year old is worth less than a 10 year old (forgetting any other factors such as seriously ill10 year v healthy 99 year old who raises millions for the NHS) And given that the majority of the deaths are in the 'less valuable' category, then I'd accept a doubling of the average death rate so that I can get my pint and football back. And the economy can get back to some kind of normality. Am I psychopathic for thinking like this or a callous logical b*****d Yes.
