I agree, but I'm not sure I'd call it recent. Corbyn was getting this treatment from the day he won the leadership. Abbott, as well, had problems with it. Neither of them, to my knowledge, used their harassment to justify breaking rules the rest of society had to abide by.

Yes, I will politicise this. Becuse it is political. Now is the time - it is always the time to call these cúnts - and their media supporters - out for what they are. I get the feeling that, unlike electoral fraud or blatant lies about the Opposition, the GBP can actually relate to how much contempt they're being held in by Cummings and, by extension, Johnson and the whole tory clown posse.

There are Tory MPs all over the country at this moment dealing with filled mailboxes from angry constituents. They're weighing up the anger of people against their loyalty to the Führer. 

Polls like the one above are bringing them out in a cold sweat.

If this had happened three years from now Cummings would be away already.

She wrote a piece in The Spectator a couple of years back that mentioned she drove somewhere. It was tweeted quite a lot yesterday.

In normal times, maybe. Right now? I have never heard (irl), read (online and print) or seen (online and TV) such united disgust at a ruling Party. It started with Cummings, then Johnson, and now ministers are tying themselves to this particular handcart. Honestly, the Tories have managed to find something, maybe the only thing, that can make the scales drop from the GBP's eyes. We cannot afford the defeatist idea of "oh, it's the wrong time in the electoral cycle" any more. We have to take this anger and focus it.

That landslide was in terms of seats. In terms of votes, it was much less impressive.

To paraphrase Wilson, let's make this the longest week in politics these arseholes have ever had.
