What the f**k is going on. Roolz gone mad. I can only guess they are trying to stop a (small) problem that existed in the summer when it was nice and warm and folk were stoating around the streets drinking takeaway pints. Not a particularly popular pass time when it is pishing it down, freezing and dark. flyingscot
City of Edinburgh now the highest in the country for cases today. Would seem like they were correctly put in Tier 3. 14 minutes ago, itzdrk said: My local had been doing draught, bottles and cans takeaway on Friday and Saturday nights and have been told sale of draught alcohol is forbidden in Glasgow. What the f**k is going on. I don't quite understand that - some fancy beer shops do refillables via draught and I don't think they've stopped. 16 minutes ago, madwullie said: This long covid seems to last months though. My MiL is only just able to walk about properly without being completely cunted and it must be 3 months or something since she had it. She did have a proper dose though, although don't think that makes much difference Edit: proper flu is absolutely fucking brutal, no two ways about it Flu is horrible (not just the bad colds that people claim as 'flu'). I was floored for over a week with it and struggled to even get out of bed. By all accounts some of the Saints players that have had covid were hit pretty hard by it as well.

What the f**k is going on. Isn't that normal regs relating to "off sales" rather than anything to do with C19 ? I think it was brought up on here when the west end pubs were doing it in the summer that it contravened licensing regs.
mizfit
I had an absolute brutal cold at the tail end of last year. Funnily enough I lost my sense of taste but that was near the end of it and lasted about 3 days. Definitely not the flu but the worst cold I’ve had in over 10 years. Funnily enough, I was just thinking this is the longest into December I’ve gone without a cold. I absolutely blame those people who go to offices absolutely riddled with the cold/flu who think it’s impressive to work through their illnesses.
H Wragg
This is from Glasgow CC website.https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/article/25814Not sure if the apparent anomaly due to offies selling refillable bottles of draught is to do with whether the place concerned is a pub (with an off sales licence) or just an off sales.

P2s have also to self isolate. Also means her big brother has to stay at home too. And the one in the middle won't be going to his school, either. 10 days of self isolation from yesterday, as far as I can gather. (The contact was listed as 11th December.) Not sure how stringent the self isolation will be as they are all in the same house, and the two boys share a bedroom. If there are no symptoms by the end of the week she might be O.K. Two pupils have tested positive (plus the teacher) and the school has been closed.

Aladdin
Post viral fatigue syndrome has been recognised for ages and you cant help but think they are including that within the numbers of "long covid". I had glandular fever in my late 20s and was gubbed for weeks after the cold/flu like symptoms and the touch of hepatitis that accompanied them disappeared. I had understood long covid to mean restricted lung capacity etc long after recovery should have been expected, not just feeling a bit knackered.

I haven't had a cold since starting to take vitamin D in the winter a few years ago. A self-reported survey of those with Covid is a hypochondriac's charter and nothing more. Absolute NAP that Sridhar and the gang will be using it to shriek against lifting measures by February-March though.

I'd expect us to really ramp up vaccinations at that point. I'd have like to have thought if it kept some businesses afloat , pubs would have been allowed to have sold remaining beer, licensing laws or not.

Needed more insincere touches of the sternum imo. FWIW, I find it weird watching her as she looks remarkably like my aunt did ~20 years ago. Can I still say "wid"? (Steedman, not the aunt) ^^^ sad that pornhub has deleted 75% of its content.

Three different roles being offered, effectively admin, patient welfare & vaccination itself. There is a long list of requirements but would think those sorts will be kept well away from the actual needles after the selection process.
