Sturgeon's hypocrisy is one thing, but so is the fact that *absolutely no-one* is wearing the useless bits of cloth in the presence of the 96-year-old monarch and other assorted auld biddies.

Get this charade so far to f**k so Scotland can finally begin moving on from the psychological trauma of mask versus no mask, and reach the point England is now at where patently no c**t gives a f**k.

It is simply pandering to the likes of the NHS Grampian woman (who complains constantly about workloads, yet who is never off the news) who wants them in place as a visible reminder that we’re still in a pandemic.

Mandating masks as a substitute for effective public health messaging is an utter disgrace.

Whom would be your choice to send to this memorial gathering to represent Scotland?

I misread that as "Wham".

I therefore nominate the surviving member of Wham.

IDGAF if he isn't Scottish. Half our football team aren't either.

He already is - the Russian Invasion thread is full of crackers from him.

Has he blamed it on Schwab and the WEF yet? Putin is just the puppet, etc? The sort of worldview one would have if they were constantly smashed on acid.

What’s the thinking today? I’m 60/40 and think she’ll downgrade mask rules to guidance but not extremely confident.

If she does, she'll have a lot of lunatics moaning about record levels of covid in the NHS so why change now. Ignoring the fact that they're not doing any fucking good because they've been told consistently that they are effective. She can't back down.

And she'll probably easily bat away DRoss protests about her double standards by saying that the tests in lieu of mask wearing meant she wasn't being a two faced c**t. It's the response I'm expecting from my MP and MSP.

I think she’ll lift it tbh. But then I thought that 2 weeks ago.

Agreed. As I said yesterday I'd be slightly surprised if she willingly put herself in front of any flak by extending it again today, after not wearing a mask all day yesterday and passing up the opportunity to offer up the BST as the sacraficial lamb in her absence.

Everything points to a foot stampingly reluctant lifting, coupled with pleading for everyone to follow the guidance, which will just create unnecessary division.

The simps, as always, are incredible, though.

"Don't need to wear a mask in England, mate. Keep up lol" seems to be the default defence from those who are appear completely blinded to the fact they are being royally mugged off.

People surely aren't saying that are they?

It's an odd reply, given the same virus is in both countries. So she should be wearing a mask if she follows her own policy.

If you genuinely believe in the benefit of masks and also believe it should be a requirement, you'll wear one when you're not compelled by law to do so.

Whataboutery that they are not required in x or y or that others and aren't wearing instantly defeats your own argument in that instance.

Exactly and she can't claim the excuse of taking an LFT before going because that's not an option to avoid wearing a mask going to church or whatever up here.
