Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Recommended Posts

Surely if all these Americans start buying it and reducing demand or driving the price up, then it's worth having a stash of the stuff for the people who actually need it for the several illnesses it is proven to treat?
Yes, but they should be honest and just say that is why they are buying it. It's also used for some arthritis patients.

They were talking about it on Jeremy Vine yesterday. One caller had been taking it for over 10 years for his arthritis, it didn't stop him catching Covid19, he tested positive a couple of weeks ago.

Banter timeline demands that this stuff turns out to be a foolproof cure, leading to a huge Trump lead in the election only for him to die of a massive heart attack on the eve of poll.

Nah, Trump is never going to die. Him and Kissinger will still be here in 2040.

It doesnt stop you catching it, it's supposed to be used as a treatment once you've caught it (although studies have shown, well, differing results)

Just flicked through the last 24 hours on here and that was probably the correct decision.
Anyway so real live from horses mouth news.
1st quite funny reading all the piss taking about ingesting mr muscle and the like. One thing that will very likely happen in dentistry is you will be given some quite potent mouth wash of sorts in the future before you start. Not sure yet what they are proposing (wife on her webinars) but it will in effect supposedly help with any shit you might release from your moosh as an aerosol threat while getting drilled or whatever.

Then onto contact tracing and the claim tother day of 22,000 in place in englandshire. The wife has just been accepted for what I assume is one of the supposed key 2 or 3000 medically trained who get paid more than jackshit. This is the English version.
She is now having to stumble through uploading all sorts of documents. That in itself is a chore. It is currently refusing her Scottish disclosure documents etc. She has disclosure docs for 2 scottish health jobs in bupa and a private dentist. Another for the brownies, 1 for scouts etc. All computer says no.
If she finally gets to the next stage there is then further work and equipment assessment etc. That's then onto training. 22,000 ready my arse is my comment.

What’s the view in Scotland over the Nike conference outbreak? I reckon Sturgeon has done alright throughout the pandemic but really needs to be held to account on this cover up.

Dunno, a lot of snp supporters are saying shit like now is not the time etc, but that's exactly what the UK govt says and frankly that's bollocks.

What exactly was ‘covered up‘ and has any explanation been given why it might have happened.

I don't know, I've not really been following it which is why I didn't comment on the substance. Just thought the cries of Now is not the time from snp was a but hypocritical. If there's questions to be answered, now is the time.

It was a fortnight before Cheltenham, doubt if procedures were fully up and running at that time. Most of the delegates had flown home by the time anything was known afaik.

From what I’ve read, which is also limited, an explanation has been given which certain folk are unwilling to accept.

I think that the Scottish Government have questions to answer related to their handling of the crisis, not sure this is one of them.  However the SNPbad lot will no doubt have a go.

Unrelated, though maybe not, the fat Edinburgh Labour MP getting a headline the other day in the Herald online something like “the Scottish people losing faith in Sturgeon”.

The limited polls I’ve seen suggest the absolute opposite but the Herald obviously feels it is fair and balanced journalism to offer a platform to this unsubstantiated nonsense.
