I was in my local Sainsbury's this evening and was pleased to see the toilet roll and soap section fully stocked. Good to know the people in my area aren't total morons.

I'm off to Turkey shortly and like their policy.
No one gets to enter the country if they have been in any of a certain list of countries in the last 14 days. Including Italy etc.
Turkey's current confirmed cases even with a huge border with Iran is still 0

If the Italian states are to be believed then the death rates is around 5%. That's significant and suggests it is dangerous - or at least to people with complications. No developed country should be accepting that sort of hit rate on its citizens. However, the Italian data may be unreliable.

With the number of people from elsewhere coming back from Italy infected, their numbers are not possible at all.
