Bairnardo
No real achievements for me today. A very humdrum day in isolation. Must try harder tomorrow.
Monkey Tennis
Did some work, but feeling even more ineffectual than usual in that regard. Did some shopping for my parents and their neighbours which took ages because I didn't know where any of the weird stuff they wanted was meant to be. The highlight was probably doing fifteen keepy uppies with a toilet roll.

Also, apart from the last series, the start was written with the end in mind.

MONKMAN
A childhood mate is a professor of English literature. I messaged him the other day, for his list of all time top 10 books. Managed to get them all ordered, along with a new pair of slippers and a 1000 piece jigsaw off amazon for £92. I had an £80 voucher I got from my work, so cost me the grand total of £12. I’m home tomorrow so lockdown will begin!

He’s mostly studied Russian literature, with his PhD being on the works of Vladimir Nabokov, so wasn’t really sure what to fully expect. Was pleasantly surprised to see Roald Dahl in there!

Have read the Twits and seen loads of episodes of Tipping Point so I am quite pleased to say I am an intellectual now.
