We’ll see how long it lasts.
Most clubs are only hanging about in the hope that the SJFA gets dissolved and they can get some cash emoji1787.png

Yous would love to win it

Clearly not as we’re not in it by choice.

We’ve won 5 or 6 tinpot Joonyur trophies and whilst it’s nice on the day they are meaningless.

Promotion and moving the club forward is our only goal.

Was that cups that everyone was in .

Don’t see him on the demolition cup thread tell clubs it’s pointless? Seem keen enough on the big Scottish despite not being able to win it at the moment.. will he want Bankies to drop out of that and celebrate killing the spfl off? Naw. Silliness

Financial rewards for progress in the Scottish Cup mean it fulfils the goal of moving the club forward.

We are a senior club again which was always our goal. That was made clear when we applied to join the Joonyurs all those years ago and wasn’t seen as a problem back then.

It was the juniors that brought you back to life and sounds a bit disrespectful imo

You say that as if bringing us in was of no benefit to the Joonyurs?

How yous been getting on this season

Been a bit up and down with a couple of decent results but a 6-1 skelping from Banks o Dee who are way ahead in the North.A few very close teams and we have now played 6 of the expected top 7 on our opening games so perhaps a false League position of 8th/14 https://northregion-jfa.pitchero.com/match-info/tables

We have a new Player Manager in Eric Watson ex Cove Rangers captain who will have played against Talbot a few times.

Really looking forward to the trip and under no illusions that we will need to play out of our skins and Talbot to have an usual off day to have any chnace. We have around 7 of the squad 21 or under with four 18 year olds so if anything the experience will do them no harm at all.

Folks your letting someone derail our thread by biting at some pityful remarks. Every club has mapped out their own journey in Scottish semi professional football and feel comfortable about it. I think some people should let clubs enjoy what they have set out to achieve, whether it be to their liking or somebody elses.
