WoSFL Licensing

Is the open terracing, down one side, still there ? or ready for a rebuild. Looking good under the lights [emoji362] bring on the midweek matches !
Pollok only have one home league match left to play, and it's on a Saturday afternoon in mid May. I do believe they're still in the WOSFL Cup though.

West tie against Kello and Clydebank will be after the 7th May so could possibly request to have that midweek.

The Licensing Committee Meeting is on 11th May. Under the licensing clauses, Pollok will have to have played a match under the lights to the satisfaction of a referee, unless they are given some derogation in that respect.

So if we beat Kello and refuse to play the next round midweek then 'Lok may not be awarded their licence ?? ... Rats !!!

The lights can be validated for licensing purposes without the need to play a match with them in use.

Is there anything to say it needs to be a competitive match?

Going by the manual no. This is where it would have been handy for Pollok to still have their Development League team to play a Friday night game just to have it wrapped up without any fuss.

It's good to see Pollok are being allowed some flexibility, as the clause doesn't say that.

Darvel's lights were accepted without a match (as their pitch was in no fit state).

Whether it is yourselves or Kello everyone I know wants that game midweek whether it’s required for the license or not.
