If you press so much in a game you can then get your opponent rushing things on occasions when they aren't being pressed. They're technically unforced errors, but United have forced them through their play.

I'm all for promotion and growth of the women's game, and having representation and input on the country's main highlights show is completely the right thing. However, being a former national coach shouldn't be a ticket to automatically getting media gigs. Absolutely terrible pundit with no meaningful input at all. Whole show and panel needs ripped up and started from scratch.

It was a yard offside but what rankles is the unanswered question. Did the linesman see the Motherwell defender on the line and so gave the goal forgetting that Kelly was out of his goal. Anyway good luck on Monday against the soft penalty eleven. Keeper being off his line is irrelevant. There needs to be 2 players between the attacker and the goal; defender on the line was one, so the decision is whether Gallagher was playing Irvine on or not.

Sportscene showed clearly that Gallagher was a yard beyond the goalscorer. Clearly offside.

DA Baracus
Sportscene host just said that this is Rangers' first domestic defeat of the season. I must have missed their League Cup win.

I think the linesman was visually confused - there were a few players getting tangled, getting up again and Kelly went walkabout in front of his defence. Thats not a defence of the non-decision, but you can understand why he made a mistake.

Surely goalie out the goal is a specific scenario he has been trained in, out of the ordinary, stay alert, make the right decision, but no. Was it Sportscene or Premier who drew a line when Nisbitt (?) hit it. Close to a yard off.
