FairWeatherFan Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 The first two rounds of the King Cup 2020-21 has been drawn on Twitter. Changing Twitter handles to club names may have led to an error. Craigroyston are missing as I believe they pulled out last year when they were having their difficulties. That leaves 30 teams with Kennoway Star Hearts and Stirling University (EoS) getting byes to the Second Round. First Round Arniston Rangers v. Glenrothes Burntisland Shipyard v. Thornton Hibs Coldstream v. Eyemouth United Haddington Athletic v. Tweedmouth Rangers Hawick Royal Albert United v. Heriot-Watt University Kinnoull v. St Andrews United Kirkcaldy & Dysart v. Dunipace Leith Athletic v. Edinburgh United Lochgelly Albert v. Dalkeith Thistle Lochore Welfare v. Newburgh Luncarty v. Rosyth Ormiston v. Oakley United Peebles Rovers v. Easthouses Lily MW Preston Athletic v. Edinburgh South Second Round Arniston Rangers or Glenrothes v. Peebles Rovers or Easthouses Lily MW Burntisland Shipyard or Thornton Hibs v. Burmah Oil Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 March and April long way away but what happens if Dalkeith and Edinburgh South both go thru to R2. Home games but share one park. 0 Quote

Home games but share one park. Dalkeith's ground has floodlights if I remember right. Also with any disruption to the season it's possible if they did both make the Second Round, the round would be played over different days anyway. EDIT: They aren't too fussed over when the games get played, as long as they get played and have a decent Final I would say. I know most of these were postponed but it shows how games can be slotted in the calendar where possible. Edited September 4, 2020 by FairWeatherFan 0 Quote
Burmah Oil Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Ok makes sense. Normally sharing the one park is only done on astros. How did it work when Tynecastle and Hutchy Vale shared the Enclosure? 0 Quote

One that comes to mind at the moment is Cumbernauld United & Kirkintilloch Rob Roy which has been going on for a few years. I think by the end Tynecastle & LTHV were quite happy to end sharing. 0 Quote
