G51
Looks like Tadic and Duricic will both miss the play off.
RossBFaeDundee
Shame for them, but a big break for us. Hopefully our players stay safe over the next few days and we can go in full strength.
Mr. Brightside
If SMS and Mitrovic also test positive, we might have a chance.

forameus
Mitrovic I'm not so worried about, certainly not as much as big SMS. If he was to be out for any reason, I'd be a lot more confident. But any starter being out is good for us.
spacekid84
Tadic is playing for Ajax tonight. They are saying the result is a false positive because he already had covid at the start of the season.

Les Cabbage
Alex Gogic had to isolate and missed a call up for Cyprus in August due to a false positive. Assume the rules are different with different governments etc but surely there should be standard rules across all of UEFA to stop inconsistencies like these arising.
craigkillie
National laws supercede UEFA. In the eyes of UEFA, Gogic was eligible for that Cyprus game, and Christie and Tierney would have been fine for us in the last triple header. They only care if there's been a positive test.

Pie Of The Month
This would rule out Milinkovic-Savic, Kolarov and Milenkovic for Serbia if this is the case.
Gordopolis
This would rule out Milinkovic-Savic, Kolarov and Milenkovic for Serbia if this is the case.Wowsers!I do think we're doing the typical thing and overly talking up Milinkovic-Savic, but it'd definitely be a boost if he he was absent

DAFC.
For me, I’d still have us as quite big underdogs. Serbia still have a great array of talent to choose from and they’re at home. No doubt this will help us a bit but won’t be getting too giddy.
Gordopolis
Yeah our struggles against Czech C should serve as a lesson should these guys be ruled out.

Aye but when you consider the one-off games we've had to qualify for a major tournament since 1998, only Georgia away was an easier game than this one IMO. Euro 2000: away to England trying to overcome a 2-0 deficit Euro 2004: away to Holland with a 1-0 lead to protect Euro 2008: away to Georgia and home to Italy, win vs either one gets us through. Euro 2020: away to Serbia, win gets us through. Wild that this is the closest we've come since then.
D.V.T.
Both Malinkovic-Slavic and Kolarov in Serbia according to local media.

Even if we'd beaten Georgia we wouldn't have been guaranteed to go through, we'd still have needed to draw with Italy to guarantee it.

That makes it our best chance to qualify since 1998 then, I'd say.
