Alert Mongoose
Griffiths is nowhere near fit enough. Palmer a significant downgrade on O’Donnell. Pretty decent from the rest though. Tierney was excellent but just went backwards a little too often compared to Robertson. If you had told me a year ago we would go to Slovakia with a second string team and largely dominate then I wouldn’t have been convinced.
Venti
Mental to think that folk were questioning KT's commitment to Scotland not long ago.
Guest Bob Mahelp
It's hard to criticise the team for actually being the better side (again) for 90 minutes. It was simply bad finishing that let us down.
Granny Danger
Maybe if we had made the subbies 10-15 minutes earlier....
Lex
Real lack of quality in the final third. Should have buried a few of those chances but no cutting edge.Hopefully Israel do us a favour later.

You could argue some of those points if we'd played poorly - but we've generally performed well. Nope this could be like Georgia away in 2008 qualifying. -
roman_bairn
Eight changes from a team that played 120 minutes on Thursday night, two of which were enforced anyway. There wasn't a noticeable drop-off in quality in the guys who were picked anyway, and the team that we put out was good enough to win and should have won.But lost to horseshit,...
accies1874
First time the subs did well and it was the last kick of the game. If I had to criticise Clarke for one thing during his reign, it's that his subs have pretty much never made us better.

DeeTillEhDeh
McBurnie shouldn't be anywhere near the team again.

cdhafc1874
Normal service is resumed.Jk, better team but never really looked like scoring though Rodak made a couple decent saves.
HuttonDressedAsLahm
How McBurnie was given the whole second half is beyond me. That was a compassionate decision, not a footballing decision. He literally did nothing at all for 45 minutes.

Mate it was less than three days after a game that went to penalties, then was followed by a massive celebration inevitably. The only surprising thing is there weren't more than 8 changes. See the pish that fans come out with it Jesus f**k.

Guest bernardblack
Does a draw later confirm us as going through top of the group?Assuming it would from head to head with Czech Republic?
accies1874
McBurnie carrying Griffiths at the end with an excellent flick-on. Griffiths really should've scored.
GordonS
Generally a good performance, we pretty much bossed a match away to a nation on a similar rank to us, maybe a little higher. We kept them to very few chances and just lost a goal getting caught a little open. But let's face it, we severely lack options up front. McGinn and McLean did look the wrong way round, though. Ach, who wants to play in a corrupt pile of shite in a backward Middle-Eastern dictatorship anyway.
No_Problemo
There really are some utter fucking morons on here. The players barely had any recovery after drinking all night following Thursday night - of course there were going to be numerous changes.
