Storror Parkour Pro

Parkour was always something I thought was kinda cool to do but never really looked into it much. Through lockdown this year and the many Youtube rabbit holes I went down I started following the Storror lads who do weekly videos of certain parkour challenges which I've enjoyed working my way through. On Monday they announced they were kickstarting a proper Parkour game called Storror Parkour Pro, it's already smashed well through the target. I quit like the idea, obviously other games have elements of Parkour in them and there are wee free running games online on Miniclip etc., but with these Storror guys actually involved in the development of the game this could be a different level (hopefully).

I know absolutely nothing about developers, but they've teamed up with folk called Hole In The Sleeve who will be the actual developers. They're planning to add in some of the challenges the guys have already done on their Youtube, as well as escape and water challenges. I'm hopeful it'll be something a bit different from the usual games I play. Does this interest anyone?

I never really go on Kickstarter, so this may be the norm, but that is a very polished pitch they have.  Every scoffing question I had got answered well in the next part ("bet it'll look shite...oh, actually, that looks not bad"/"they all look like wee VLs, where's the actual VLs that aren't parkour guys and who'll build the...oh, there they are"/"aye but how...oh, ok").  They certainly talk a good game, could be a really interesting game if they get the mechanics right.  Not sure what they could do to really stand out just for being a parkour game though.

Aye, that's pretty much what I thought. At first I thought this'll be shite but they are really creative guys and they do put everything into what they do. I think for it to be a fun game the escape challenges are going to need to be interesting, they love doing chase style parkour videos a lot (generally across rooftops) so I can see that sort of thing being big in the game.
