Spikethedee
Dundee FC - Charlie Adam + playing at Palmerston on Boxing Day = comfortable home win.
19QOS19
I'm starting to feel like a Falkirk fan the season they stunk out the league. Fans of opposition said they weren't confident before they played them not knowing how truly shite they really were. It's almost identical to us except we thankfully haven't spunked a fortune on our duds.

Qualities that this present gang aren't showing much of. As regards Saturdays game, I don't expect much in the way of change. Barring a massive change Johnston will still be in charge. We could script the post match interview now.
FrankReynolds
The only memory I have of Warren Moon is a game against Dundee at Palmerston which we won 2-0. He actually played really well that game. Here's a picture of John O'Neil scoring in the same match

Ours are at a completely different level. If they were parachuted into League 1 right now, they would be one of the candidates for relegation. Our only league win this year was a shock result against Alloa. That solitary win and seven defeats from the last 8 home league games. That was the only win in the last 18 league games overall. We haven’t beaten a full-time team at Palmerston since 9 November 2019.

Boo Khaki
Which QoS player has never scored a senior goal? Guaranteed double on Saturday.
The Ghost of B A R P
Think the Dundee fans might be right here... Queens are a bedraggled looking lot, but if Johnston sticks three in the middle of the park and asks two of them to do nothing but protect the back line, I have a feeling they’ll get something here. Shitfest shitfest shitfest, out ball to Shields or Fitzpatrick. If he’d done that on Saturday, there’s every chance we’d be talking about a dull 1-1 draw.

Ludo*1
Charlie Adam has to be a doubt for this. Niggling injuries apparently caught up with him hence the substitution last night and then the terrible news about his mum there and quite frankly, he deserves a week or 2 off if he should so wish. We'll be completely fucked without him mind. Jakubiak again ruled out for months and unfortunately for both parties, he's turning out to be an underwhelming signing as he just can't get going. Osman Sow who played his first decent game in what must be years is now suspected of having a broken foot. Our only LB (and again, if Charlie Adam wasn't at the club the other contender for PotY) is also a doubt. So that leaves us with Danny Mullen up front along with Afolabi who looked brilliant pre-season, but clearly couldn't care less and has been utter shite since and that's only if he can be bothered playing - it might well be Danny Mullen & Paul McGowan up front. Declan McDaid at LWB or some other madness if McPake changes formation. Max Anderson will slot into midfield - when realistically, it should be Finlay Robertson to try and give some semblance of balance for the missing Charlie Adam. Clusterfuck is coming on Boxing Day, but that's nothing new.

Jimi Shandrix
On 20/12/2020 at 02:50, Margaret Thatcher said: Just had a wee Google of Barry John Corr there to see if anything came up about his spell at Queens. Alas it was a time before lower league football blogs and I couldn't find much. It does say something when his bio on the official site (archived here) was as follows: His spell at Queens has been a bit of a disaster really. Whilst on joining us he was a highly rated 'keeper he has had some good and some bad moments and has swapped the jersey with Colin Scott a couple of times as Ian McCall decided upon his number 1 choice. It is now clear that Scooter is the No1 choice and that BJ is unlikely to feature for the first team in any other position than the bench. Despite being told he cold leave during the January transfer window he produced an heroic display in the cup replay penalty shoot out with Dundee and remains a Queens player until the end of the season at least. Also brought up the following irrelevant, but hilarious, photo of a mid-2000s haircut being rocked by Lewis Sloan: His hair actually looks like coronavirus
