Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Bottom right, pressure relief valve, should have a red knob. Give it a quarter turn, this will discharge water and thus the pressure.

gaz5
My boiler is hard to get to (have to empty a cupboard) so I usually just go to the closest radiator (my bathroom) and use the bleed valve on there too let water out to reduce pressure if needed.

That's the easier way to do it.
Thistle_do_nicely
unironically my boiler is leaking and literally only started in the last hour or so after i tried putting the heating on and it made a horrendous hissing sound + the light turned from flashing green to a solid red light, so have switched it off fully, have no hot water or heating on right now someone is due out tomorrow so hopefully an easy enough fix. tried adjusting the wee stoppy cocky thingy but it won't fully turn off the water pressure, just lowers it going by a test of the kitchen cold tap (seemingly the only way to fully get the water off is an outdoor external bit) Few towels under the leak (wouldn't say its gushing, more just a steady constant drip, like not once every few seconds but maybe twice per second)
