Ross County sure called our bluff on that way of thinking when they actually did appoint John Hughes.

John Hughes will always do well with a decent enough squad needing a reaction. Neither McIntyre or Pressley are likeable enough people to get any sort of good reaction from a squad low on confidence.

It'll be a catastrophic appointment. Either of them.

John Hughes is cited by loads of players that he has previously managed as being a very tactically astute and good man manager.

Just because he talks like a Leith docker doesnt make him daft.

All joking aside McIntyre wouldn’t be a terrible appointment yes he flopped at Dundee but everywhere else he has done well and was probably not given enough time to turn it around at county , will always be great full to him for delivering the league cup , also signed some cracking players for us too

Please be PBS (Pishy Broon Shoes).

Would absolutely love he got Kilmarnock relegated but was kept on and we then beat them to the title next season.

I'm sure Sammy The Tammy still has the PBS garb...

Hughes has already been a step up from Kettlewell. I'm hopeful now we'll stay up, under Ketts we were utterly done.

I can't see much from the Championship that ought to be worrying County, so really you only need 11th or better. You might even be allowed in to see a playoff final.

The one time he did not have Billy Dodds beside him - he fails at Dundee.

So make your own mind up who is the mastermind in that Duo.

The only worry would be Caley, they almost always turn up against us, even if they're an inferior side. Post Boyce there's not been much between the sides in meetings.

Fowler saying after todays game we are close to appointing a new manager..... Tommy Wright is now 1/6 with skybet.

Tbf his odds plummeted after an interview where he was asked about the Killie job, and didn't say no. He simply said he was "keen to return to management, but the job has to be right".

Which is the same as asking who the mastermind was in Laurel and Hardy

Appointment on Monday apparently?

Don't use common sense and appoint the fat grass, please.

It's such an obvious appointment it would be madness if they didn't. I'd imagine Robinson has loftier ambitions and might be looking at Aberdeen.

TW was pretty vocal about hating plastic pitches/DOF model, so if he takes this he must be getting desperate.
