superbigal
I am sure some of you chaps can verify that you can still get a Ham & Tomato sandwich for 99p in some cracking corner shop establishments. This sandwich wrapper hardly looks like it is from M&S yet cost £1.09 29 years ago. What a rip off. Also does Margarine still exist ? Can any P&B sarny connoisseurs post a picture of cheaper pieces from their local shop ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-56927418 Edited April 29, 2021 by superbigal

Todd_is_God
Adjusted for inflation, that is £2.30 today. Probably not far off the actual price of a similar sandwich in M&S outwith a meal deal
DA Baracus
Looks like it's 1.09p, not £1.09.

ScottMc77
Of course margarine still exists. Have you not been in a supermarket for several years?
Miguel Sanchez
It quite clearly says ham and tomato, not ham.
