btb Posted July 6, 2021 Author Share Posted July 6, 2021 (edited) It's an attempt to take the characters from Ankh-Morpocks City Watch and put them into a police procedural in a steampunk setting, the production values are pretty high and I wasn't put off by them but the story was impenetrable and I baled out before the end - won't be watching any more. BallochSonsFan Posted July 7, 2021 Share Posted July 7, 2021 I couldn't make it to the end of the first episode. The humour works in Pratchett's hands. It doesnt work in the TV show. The setting is wrong, the characters are utterly devoid of any real interest and although the production values look high, the cast look like they're phoning it in. It's terrible.
