Marten
I'm planning to go to the game tonight. Is there a social club or bar at the ground? Or any decent pubs nearby for a pre-match pint?
Marlowe
Yes, there is the Buffs Social Club at the ground. Nearby at the station crossroads is the Alton and opposite is Taylor's and facing down the Dalry Road is the Market Bar, filled with football players who drink and their supporters. Fill yer boots!

Easy to see the eye pleasing style of football Gormley encourages the boys to play.

funky monkey
The Buffs retain the Eglinton Cup in a competitive game in the sunshine. Both teams will be happy with the workout and how they are shaping up for the new season. The highlight was the second goal, Dylan Mackin curling in a left foot shot in off the post from well outside the box. Townhead Lad
Just noticed the buffs have signed another player in their 30s? I don’t think the likes of Chris millar and Kevin Nicol will be as good as we’re hearing. fancy Cumnock, Irvine Meadow to finish above them this season.
energyzone
I take it we are still using last season's strip for this campaign?

Kevin has been handed the captain's armband, Chris vice captain. Both players have shown up very well in pre season. Chris is rumoured to be amongst the fittest players at the club. Gormley has signed some very good players, just a case of getting the best 11 on the pitch and gelling as quickly as possible. Once that happens, Buffs will be competitive once again. As for your bold prediction, only time will tell.

Can anybody confirm if the suspension incurred at Clyde transfers with Nicholl to The Buffs?

As I said on another thread that not always but someone screenshot the SFA suspension list with him on it and it will have transferred with him so he was suspended on Saturday. It hurts more as it is likely that you will lose the result and be fined and the player will still miss the next 2 games.
