Ross County vs. Dundee

Recommended Posts

Right then, payback time.

We were down to the barest of bones today, but thankfully we'll have McGhee and I would expect Anderson back. As embarrasing as the last game against the Staggies was, it was the rocket up the arse we needed to actually start keeping clean sheets and getting wins. Both sides are in pretty good form, but while County have been grabbing one point at a time, we've been taking all three.

What’s that you say? A game where a Dundee team that have started to look a bit more cohesive and impressive are playing the bottom of the league team with a chance to put some real distance between themselves and the relegation places??

Only one outcome possible, I would have thought…

3 nil The Derryboy’s.

Hungbo and Cooke missing due to covid and the right back from Arsenal suspended 👌

Thank you.

Wishful thinking! Terrible wishing covid on anyone 🤦🏻‍♂️ All 3 of them tore us apart at Dens and will be available for this I’d imagine.

St Mirren eventually starting doubling up on Hungbo when he had the ball in our last game and he was quiet in the second half because of it. Wonder if Dundee will do the same?

I think RCC and Hungbo need to play with Samuel or White up front. Baldwin hasn't looked horrendous the last few games which is encouraging.

My prediction is a mental 2-2 draw.

I doubt we will, however in this game we may not have a striker on the wing and a winger up top, like last time.

Double up 😮 we’re Dundee FC, we don’t close down wingers.

It's been a long time since a player for county has genuinely had other teams worried before a ball is kicked (Boyce probably being the last one) if Hungbo and Clarke are on it then it should be interesting.

I have to say I'm surprised McPake has managed to turn it around so fair play. I say it in most match threads but we're one or two bad days away from having serious problems again.

As I said in the intro post, that battering really drove our team to prove itself and has honestly had a pretty positive effect. It's been especially important since (at least from my perspective) your team have kept in decent form. If both teams can keep their momentum intact, we can leave the worries of relegation to the Livis, Buddies and fermers of this world.

...Failing that, I hope we win and continue to widen that gap.

A draw here would not be a disaster .
