Have some faith in Magic
Returnal on PS5 for me. Absolutely infuriating but brilliant game. Gave up so many times but kept on coming back. Sound, atmosphere all great. Dud of the year: Deathloop, obviously just me but I can't get into it at all. Might give it another go as plenty of spare time coming up over the next few weeks. If not will purchase Disco Elysium for a change of pace.

Fancy trying to crack Returnal over a few months and everything I’ve heard about the game once it clicks sounds amazing. Disco Elysium is incredible. Fairly bog standard point and click on the surface but far and away one of the most well-written games ever made. The most I can say that a game feels like a novel. I haven’t cheered as much at a reveal as much as I have at a specific moment in the ending of that game. Kim Katsuragi also the only sidekick who’s actively made me a better PC while playing.

I hope they remake MediEvil 2 as well.

Alfredolch
I highly recommend you to purchase Disco Elysium anyway. I liked Horizon Zero Dawn a lot. Also, enjoyed GT Sport but I can't say that it changed my life. What really changed my life is Minecraft a few decades ago ahah. Jokes aside, it really did. That's where my love for video games has started. I'm still playing it but adding some upgrades from time to time not to get bored. Last week I downloaded minecraft prison servers and it changed the game a lot. Now, it's like one level harded and I'm enjoying it.
