Steven W
Info on this game seems somewhat sparse. I'm considering making a late dash through for it. I take it I can buy tickets at the stadium? If I'm a little late (every possibilty) can I buy tickets after kick off? Any tips on where to park? I see Belgium have the group pretty much won already, but does finishing second get us anything in terms of qualification?
Pie Of The Month
I think one of the SSC emails recently was saying you can get tickets from the Hearts ticket office on the day. The 3 2nd place teams with most points (after the games v bottom placed sides for the bigger groups are removed) qualify for the u21 tournament and the remaining 6 go into playoffs. Going to be a big ask to catch Denmark who have their 4 remaining games all at home.
accies1874
I can't remember the last time I saw kick-off at an u21s game (for various reasons) so you should be fine getting a ticket if you're late. That said, the last few times have been with the SSC membership.

Detournement
Neither of the two Newcastle players in the match day squad. Or Harrison Ashby. It looks like a 4-3-3/4-5-1 with Middleton as the striker and Fiorini and Leonard playing wide. We must be the only country in the world that produces zero strikers.
akuram
Who thinks Glen Middleton is a number 9. Good player but no end product. Surely better with Rudden as he is a much better striker. Is Calum Hendry too old as he also is in form and would be better than both.

Jim McLean's Ghost
This is already horrendous. have we been within 40 yards of the Turkey goal? Edit: Apparently we had a chance in the first minute. I missed the start of the game. Edited March 25, 2022 by Jim McLean's Ghost
resk
4-4-2 is still a thing?

Unsurprisingly, from a set-piece delivery quite a way out.

Comrie
We've gotten away with that penalty shout. Yilmaz is torching us down the left.
resk
I don't think I've seen a full back throw the ball straight to an opposition attacker 30 yards from goal before. Scotland are all over the place.
Detournement
Leonard and Banks look like they don't have a clue about competitive football. We would be better playing boys getting a game in Scotland than England based youth players.
Illgresi
Every time I watch the u21s they are absolute garbage. Not because of any lack of talent, or any specific players fault, but because of Scot Gemmill's absolute bowfin tactics and team selection.
Detournement
Getting out of that half only a goal down is a result for us. The performance has been shocking, there's not one area of the team which is functioning. Delighted to see Ransom back. The only bright spot.
