BW Charlie Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Massive game for both sides. A Clyde win and we're almost safe. Lets get all us Bully Wee supporters behind the team and cheer us onto near safely. 3 -1 Clyde. 0 Quote
the_bully_wee Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Even one point between now and the end of the season will likely be more than enough to keep us safe; as it is, Dumbarton need at least three wins from five to overhaul our advantage, and they've won only two of their last sixteen. Would still be nice to finish as high up as we can and in decent form going into the summer of course, but I don't think we should be worrying at all. 0 Quote
Guest Bluetoon Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Think a draw here might be a good result for both. East Fife play Airdrie so can't see them getting anything from that and Dumbarton are up against Alloa and again can't see them winning that one. Obviously the higher the finish the more prize money you get but don't think there would be too much in the positions in League 1 0 Quote
David W Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Hopefully Parry playing last night means he can return. I can only imagine Samuel will start as well. Any news on McAllister? I fear he will be out for a couple of weeks. If Cuddihy also misses out then we have issues down the right side. 0 Quote
Bully Wee Clyde FC Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Do we still have to give Peterhead a 2 goal start, every time we play them at Broadwood? 0 Quote
Blue-Toon Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Do we still have to give Peterhead a 2 goal start, every time we play them at Broadwood?Of course. A Scott Brown double followed by a Clyde comeback to snatch a draw to keep both teams happy. 1 Quote
TheBigGuy Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Amazing job Danny has done tbf losing the best player in the league and that. 0 Quote

peternapper Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Still think the last game down there changed both teams seasons, we were 2-0 up & looking like scoring at will approaching halftime when Mr Goodwillie managed to buy & score a pen. Clyde got a draw and in the weeks that followed picked up some good points and are now safe. We played ok in a lot of games but have not been able to get away from danger. We played well last week & will need to be at the same level tomorrow. 0 Quote

SLClyde Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Surely Monday will play after his midweek performance. A draw wouldn’t be the worst result but a win would just kill off any lingering fears of being dragged back in. 0 Quote
Ignoramus Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Livingstone at RB? At least it’s time for a bit of Monday 0 Quote
Replays Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 A big blow that both Cuddihy and McAllister are out today. I suppose it’s a positive for us that McLean is out for Peterhead too. 0 Quote

Replays Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Peterhead all over our midfield and our plodding centre halves. Passed up a sitter when Splaine blasted the ball off of Long after a fluke led to the ball falling to him 6 yards out. Whilst no fan of Nicoll, I felt his booking. Splaine’s booking was sheer frustration. As predicted, Cuddihy and McAllister (and Cunningham too) are big misses for us. Still in it but big improvement needed. 0 Quote
the_bully_wee Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 This is unspeakably bad. It really is remarkable that we're all but safe. It's bad enough up in the stand but Jamieson must be the most fed up person in the stadium - our chances of seeing him again are slim to none. 0 Quote
CoveRangers1922 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Ryan Duncan coming back from injury and hence the reason he starts on the bench today? Very impressed with him during his time at Peterhead. Hopefully he gets some minutes in the second half. 0 Quote

Ryan was away with the Scotland U21 last week, good team performance last week against Falkirk so not really surprised that he’s on the bench. 0 Quote
