Cowdenleith Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Looking forward to the game, both teams have something to play for, could be a decent game. A win for Cowden and loss for Elgin means the impossible dream is still alive Letβs do it... 0 Quote

PELE Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Fingers crossed today. I was optimistic that Elgin might lose their last 4 and they obliged last week, but their game at Stirling today is the one they are most likely to get points from. 0 Quote

big al Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 (edited) Wasnβt the best game but neither team was that good.Β Cowden better 1st half and EC 2nd. Got a chance with Sammy upfront and Barrowman was decent.Β Really needed fresh legs in the central midfield area 2nd half. Edited April 16, 2022 by big al 1 Quote

Cowdenleith Posted April 16, 2022 Author Posted April 16, 2022 No lack of effort from Cowden, and there was some better passing movements than previous home games, but itβs difficult to remember the City keeper having a real save to make. This team is going to be hard to break down in the play off, make no mistake of that, itβs just at the other end that we are goingΒ to likely struggle. 0 Quote
tamthebam Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Programmes sold out 20 minutes before kick off...Β Β How are we pre-match drinkers meant to cope? The Editor must go!Β Blue Brazilians were quite quiet today, normally they're more passionate/seething. I would still fancy you against Bonnyrigg if it comes to that.Β We're still 4th. Cowdenleith Posted April 16, 2022 Author Posted April 16, 2022 We were in quite sharp, probably about 2.20 and got one, Cowden produce a wonderful programme, for what must be a really limited print run, a real labour of love. 0 Quote

Spare a thought for the in match drinkers at the back of the terracing who had their booze taken off them, open bottles poured out, not sure if they could get their unopened cans back at the end. 0 Quote

Yeah, we were standing quite close to them, and I had noticed the Moretti and Stellas they had, but the guys were quite discreet. Somebody must have tipped the stewards off as they just marched right up to them, didnβt seem to be any great drama. I think one of the stewards is enjoying two or three free cans of Stella tonight 0 Quote

Also missing Morrison but hopefully they are back before play offs.Β Think Mullen was just suspended. 5 unbeaten though must give them some confidence.Β 0 Quote

BBC Radio Scotland of course have us buried already. Β Itβs a formality that we are going down apparently.Β stating the bleeding obvious but we do need to find goals from somewhere. Unfortunately 0-0 wonβt keep us up.Β 0 Quote
Stevo Fife Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 4 mundane derbies against our mob next season should be incentive to stay up. On second thoughts... 0 Quote
