Just watched this on BBC2 and have to say that, whatever your opinion of Alexei Navalny, he's got some balls. Prior to watching, I wasn't too well informed about his Novichok poisoning but found the whole thing pretty gripping. Well worth watching on iPlayer.

Watched it, and to be honest I'm still a bit conspiracy theorist about it, and there could some kind of deal between him and Putin for the succession. He used to accuse Putin of being too soft and not nationalist and racist enough. Navalny is no Nemtsov, who really took Putin on over his imperial ambitions and initial invasion of Ukraine in 2014, and was shot in February 2015 just outside the Kremlin. Navalny says whatever he thinks will be popular at the time, I don't trust him.
