Highland Capital Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Strewth! It's time for the Australian Federal Election. Everyone as excited as yours truly? Have any PNBers ever stood for election in Australia? Will any PNBers be voting for the Daylight Saving Party? Have any PNBers ever not spent any time on everything because in the meantime, every three months someone is torn to pieces by a crocodile in North Queensland? 0 Quote
BFTD Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 This thread requires an in-depth rundown of the parties, and the general state of play for ignorant drongos like me. Any chance of victory for the bonzer good guys, or will the Aussies vote in another pack of flamin' galahs? 1 Quote

Ray Patterson Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Basically the Liberals are like the Tories and Nationals are like the Uber-Tories and they're part of what is known as the Coalition (but are basically the same party) - they're in government and are massive climate-change denying c***s. Labor is like well Labour, and the only real opposition to the Coalition, and are slightly leading in the polls. There's Pauline Hansen and her One Nation Party - which is like the BNP (she's a fucking psycho) and Fatty Coal Magnate Clive Palmer and his United Australia Party - which is like UKIP. There's also Katter's Australia which is fucking mental - he's famous for this clip There's also the Greens - which compete with Labor in some seats, and are about as relevant as the Greens over here. 3 Quote

Sherrif John Bunnell Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 I take it the Aussie version of the BNP aren't as keen on the rights of the indigenous population as the British version of the party is? 0 Quote
scottsdad Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 I know as much about Australian politics as I do about pleasing women. The number and quality of my posts in this thread will give you an indication of what that is. Bye all. 1 Quote
