Only game without a goal at the moment. I’m watching “Premier 1” which has this Che-Liv as main feature but provides all the goals from the other games.

I’ve probably given it the curse now.

I doubt it. Reckon there will be a good few goals. Do you think Matip got away with not getting booked for that challenge early in the game on Felix I believe? Surely that is more dangerous than what happened with Kane last night regarding the sending off.

It's only not a goal because of a terrible handball rule brought in specifically for VAR though. You can't praise VAR for that, it wouldn't have been given as a handball before VAR came in, because it wasn't an offence before VAR came in.

I’m an EPL fan, I admit it openly, but by Christ, these two have fallen from grace, eh? This (quite literally) is a mid-table shitfest.

Is there not still an outside chance of Liverpool of making Europe if they were to nick a win here?

I haven't watched much in the way of EPL matches this season or last but this is definitely a mid table borefest.

Remember when these two were competing in Champions League semi finals?

Yeah, suppose so. Both teams look way short in quality, confidence. For all its’ bloated faults, this season’s EPL still looks very interesting, especially in regard to relegation. Tight as a gnat’s chaff. If there’s a ‘big 7’ though, now that Newcastle are sportswash minted, Liverpool & Chelsea are doing a fair impersonation of a Wolves, West Ham, Palace or Everton here.

Great use of VAR to overturn an on field error of awarding a penalty and sending off Watkins of Villa for a last ditch tackle.

Finished 2-1 Villa away at Leicester.

Great run of victories for Villa. 5 wins out of 6. Up to 7th place for Villa.

How does anybody pick a man of the match in Chelsea v Liverpool? Not one player has stood out

Cucurella’s hair the standout in this contest IMHO. Give the award to his barnet.
