I m hoping that we ditch 3-5-2 and go for a back four.

September squads are awkward as they seem to be the most likely to bring complications out with your control. I'm sure Clarke will mostly stick with the same bunch but it's always interesting to see who drops out.

Doubt there will be too many changes squad wise, exception of Tierney likely to come back.  Unless someone has a run of form early season that makes them impossible not to pick, of course far too early to predict in any case, as who knows what will happen in terms of injuries etc

I can't see much changing.  None of the squad, outwith Gordon, is anywhere near retirement or in danger of ageing.

We called up more than normal, but may do so again as it's another triple header.

Other than Tierney, a happy Fraser, a re-energised Forrest, and a fit-again Nisbet, there are no obvious players missing?  I doubt anyone has time to demand a call up from outwith the call ups for 2022.

I just want Hanley to be playing well again, because he's been nothing short of a bomb scare these last few matches.

Critical: Tierney returns.  McGinn back to firing.  Gilmour getting game time.   Dykes and Adams scoring.  Everyone else staying fit and playing as well as possible.

Armstrong has surpassed Ryan Christie IMO. The main question marks for me is who is our best option in the middle of the back three (I’ve said Hanley, but any of McKenna, Cooper or Hendry are in the conversation), and whether Scott McTominay can win a midfield job off Gilmour.
