That kind of attitude will never catch on. It would be a lot easier getting behind the players and management if they actually approached games with a positive try and win attitude rather than try not to lose mindset. That doesn't mean going all kamikaze obviously. Our defence is decidedly shaky so it makes sense to try and keep the ball further up the park. A bit of actual football would be greatly appreciated too rather than the ball spending most of the time up in the air and players playing head tennis. It's a bit more than breezy in Dumfries today and if tomorrow's the same then we can expect a dire game if the ball is just lumped up in the air at every opportunity. One prediction I will make is that, if Robinson is in goals, that he and Murray will have a pushing/shoving moment some time during the game. It's happened in every game so far. I would be delighted, and greatly surprised, if we picked up three points, a draw would not be too shabby but the team will need to be on their top game to get anything from this. Gerintaethem. Edit: This should probably be on the Match thread but the sentiments the same for every game. palmy_cammy
We're safe! Whilst I've never fully felt we were anything but safe I'll be a lot happier when it's mathematically confirmed. You'd think after today we'd go up to Ayr in high spirit and add to their woes with a comfortable win. What will actually happen is we'll lose a game of hoofball 1-0 and other results will go against us to leave us looking over our shoulders again.
QOSQOS
That's Dobbie up to 14 league goals, 2 behind Cummings. Aren't there Queens fans out there with bets on him finishing top scorer? Although it seems odd that the top scorer in the Championship has only 16 goals - suspect that's unusually low. May check that one out....

palmy_cammy
I've money each way on Dobbs at 33/1. It looks unlikely he'll finish ahead of Cummings, but still a decent return.I thought today was the best he's played in a while. He looked much sharper, and more interested.
NM_1919
Quite harsh on dobbie in terms of him getting MoM, but yesterday I thought he thoroughly deserved to be. Class, a constant threat, hungry everything he was at start of season. Maybe as others have said our passing maybe had a lot more to do it with it as suited him and tan man more. Thought majority of team played well tbh. Robbo and wee Dan probably only ones not to get, Higgins distribution was shite but generally had a decent game defensively. Thought Dom Thomas was full of confidence after 21s game, constant threat. Pity I can't see him being here next year, hopefully can keep hold of Thomson for another year, spoke to a few Celtic fans who think we've a decent chance of doing so although they've high hopes for him. It's already been said, but it's going to be an interesting summer. Not many left that I'd sign up tbh. Lyle, brownlie possibly and Hilson (I'd take the chance if money is right). For me we need a goalkeeper, right back, two centre halfs, mercer covers both full backs so that'd be defence sorted. Midfield we need couple of wingers, and probably a centre mid if Thomson doesn't get kept on, then we've bell and Murray to cover. Upfront I'd like a striker that's going to press teams as I think we let defences off playing out from the back. A

A I think Gavin Reilly will end up being the most obvious signing we ever make this summer. He is just what we need and we are just what he needs.
NM_1919
Probably someone similar to him, I suppose if Dale Hilson stays fit he's useful doing such role. But Skelton and now Naysmith seem to like him on wing. Not something I'm against. Just hope he can stay clear of injury.
