My mistake. Good player if my memory serves me[/quote

Gray certainly was a good player.

If I remember correctly, he only missed one game of the Championship winning season.

I recall a game v ICT where Barry Robson gave him an absolute roasting

but Robson was good enough to do that to lots of players.

Gray picked up a bad injury in the second last game of the Championship season as I recall. I think the one game he missed was the last one v Morton. I can't remember now what he actually did (knee injury maybe I think) but I'm sure he went away for the summer presuming it would be fine by pre-season and it turned out it wasn't. So he wasn't fit to start the season, I think he maybe had surgery and a rehabilitation period and never truly looked fit enough for first division football all season. His release at the end of the season wasn't a surprise by then.

Many people do consult the records on occasion ( certainly I do). Generally just looking to give accurate info to the discussion.

Slightly tongue in cheek from me DD. I am probably making excuses for getting it slightly wrong there but I do prefer to use the old grey matter.

So the first leg of the playoff is 9th May at Palmerston, am right? Is there a chance this could be moved for TV or any other reason?

Yes, 2nd leg at Ibrox or Easter road on Wed 13th. I`d imagine this scheduling would already have taken TV into account but given recent events who can tell. See link for schedule.

Thanks. I actually looked at that link before but missed the vital sentence: "although they are subject to change for live TV coverage"

I congratulated Queens a few weeks ago but congratulations again now that the play-off places are confirmed.

I know the league table confirms Queens are the better side but even if we'd sneaked into the play-offs I still reckon Queens were better suited to do well in them than us.

Be rooting for youz to do well.
