Guest Whitesands
A reasonable draw. Most important was to avoid one of the better 2nd seeds which we have done. Italy We can take them at Hampden but think we'll struggle to get anything over there. Most likely will be a draw at home and a defeat away. Slovenia Best 2nd seed to get. Got 2nd spot in their 2004 qualifiation group from a poor group. Best player has just retired. I think we can beat them at home and at least draw away. Norway The best team from pot 4. However, we recently drew 0-0 over there. Think we can take them at home and get at least a draw in Oslo. Belarus Poor record in 2004 qualifications. Lost every game except Moldova at home. Will beat them at home and away. Moldova Again poor record in qualification for 2004. Home and away wins. It's a dawdle.
onlycowdenfanhere
lol...hmm maybe not a dawdle! But I think we have a great chance for 1 of the best runners up spots. We should be beating every1 at home, even including Italy. Ok, a draw at hampden would be probably as good. Away from home, win in Belarus, Moldova, hopefully Norway and/or Slovenia - wud take a draw and a win. Then Italy...well, they beat Wales over there 4-0...try our luck and if we get something well its more than a bonus! MON SCOTLAND!!!
Gordon EF
I think we have to aim for 4 wins and a draw at home [the draw being the Italy game obviously]. We need to beat Moldova and Belarus away as well. A point in Slovenia and a point in Norway would be good too. But we will almost definately be beaten in Italy. This would give us an outside chance of one of the best runners up and would secure a play off place. I honestly cann see Scotland acheiving those results.
