microdave
I'm expecting this to be a tough game for us. We're quietly getting wins on the board again but Elgin were difficult opponents back in August and home advantage could be a big help to them next week.

Elgin to me are a riddle wrapped in an enigma inside a mystery - I don't know what to make of their results. However I agree that with home advantage and Kane Hester they will present a formidable obstacle. Especially if they watch footage of the Ali v Foreman fight in Kinshasa in 1974 and work us out. Jan Vojáček
Finally getting to tick Borough Briggs off the list is practically as good as three points already for me.
lorenzo71
Kane Hester is a class act.Would gladly take a draw here.Massive game and a huge test for us.

Maybe in April. I'll console myself with New Douglas Park in a few weeks which I've (bizarrely) never been to.

Went with killie for a weekend long pre season tourney about 15+ years ago. It's a... throwback. NDP I've been to about 50 times due to it's ease of train journey. On topic, Sons to win 0-1.

Aah, but sadly the WWII pill box behind one of the goals is no longer there.

Thom & Gerry
Had to go when we got into Scottish League as a grass bank behind the goals was no longer good enough!
FifeSons
Elgin seem to be quite free-scoring. I know their top scorer, so he’s bound to score (again). Sadly he’s not keen on a move to us, despite my best efforts. Edited November 6, 2022 by FifeSons

To be fair, it did it's job. Adolf and his pals never never invaded Borough Briggs. Home win.
microdave
Ally Love hasn't recovered from his injury and will miss tomorrow's game. Finlay Gray is doubtful but will be given every chance. https://www.dumbartonfootballclub.com/news/?mode=view&id=5628
squeezebox-son
Well, having Fin out would be a huge blow! I expect a tough match tomorrow and I'm not overly confident if I'm being honest.

Jan Vojáček
Finlay Gray is probably the only player we have who is completely irreplaceable. There isn't another player like him in the league, let alone in our squad. That would be a big blow if he was forced to miss out.
microdave
We all know that there is a manager of the month curse but is there a player of the month equivalent? Asking for the Dumbarton defence obvs.

Thom & Gerry
Looking forward to it. Should be a decent crowd so type of game we generally don’t turn up for. Happy with a draw. Hoping for better.
