Occurrences would call to mind a similar happening in an episode of Friends so I'd use that as a comparison. Fair enough you don't like it. There are many legitimate criticisms (Joey's character's stupidity stretched credulity and Phoebe's character was obviously unlikeable), and a lot of illegitimate ones (judging past comedy by today's standards is a PTTGOMN incidentally). Finally, Texas BBQ Pringles are up there with the best of crisps and I will die on that hill .
thistledo
I like Friends and Cheers, Frasier is permanently on in the morning at my inlaws so I more or less can't stand the c**t.
scottsdad
Back in the 90s when they were first on, Channel 4 on a Friday night was excellent. Friends, Frasier and ER. Friends (especially) and Frasier have been repeated to death. And all 3 shows went on far too long, well past when they were good.

Loved by vacuous Pringle eating air heads who couldn't understand Cheers or Frasier. Glad you managed to get that off your chest, the world is a better place for sharing it.

BillyAnchor
Probably won't make any British obituary but the very controversial American basketball coach Bob Knight just died. While coaching at Indiana he had his own TV show and after a lot of bad blood with rivals Purdue he invited the Purdue athletic director to the show. He declined so instead they invited someone with similar views. Worth a watch.

They have ruled out a few drugs but surely it’s not difficult to determine if he drowned or not? I'm sure if you wrote in and explained they'd give you a heads up of the official outcome.
alta-pete
I suspect that as long as cause of death is confirmed prior to December 31 it won't have any sort of material bearing on either the competition result or players' strategy. Do try and calm your enthusiasm @throbber !
