I read something recently (probably a twitter post) suggesting that the original Bond books include off the scale racism. The sexism was far more prominent than the racism, from what I remember. Lines such as "All women love semi-rape" just stood out to me.
Salvo Montalbano
He was very racist in the Fleming novels. He hated Slavic people in general, and Bulgarians in particular. He thought black people had low intelligence, there were loads of racist comments and also homophobic phrases as well as weird things like believing that homosexuals couldn't whistle. And the misogyny obviously was quite legendary.

Shotgun
“Goldfinger” is read through the fingers stuff. In addition to Oddjob being delighted when given a cat to eat and many other gems of that nature, you’ll learn that the reason there are so many effeminate men around is because women were given the vote.

tamthebam
Right wing historian Paul Johnston at 94. He may have been a Conservative but he didn't like the Daily Heil: "In a Daily Telegraph interview in November 2003, he criticised the Mail for having a pernicious impact: "I came to the conclusion that that kind of journalism is bad for the country, bad for society, bad for the newspaper" So perhaps not all bad.
