VincentGuerin
Great draw. Hamilton is a fucking shite hole, but it has several boozers that are fun to drink in. I'm in favour of this.
cdhafc1874
Is Shankland suspended for this now or does he serve his ban in the league? Â Either way there's almost no way we're winning this tie so might as well get the money from Hearts selling out the away end & maybe TV money too. Â Not that much - if any - of it will be used to improve our 1st team mind! Â

No offence, but getting through shouldn't depend on his presence. Humphrys will just come in. We've had our share of poor cup performances over the years, so we can't take it for granted, but we can have no complaints with the draw and no excuses if we go out. I'm looking forward to my first trip to the Accies Vaults in a few years.

cdhafc1874
Probably easier to give Hearts part of the main stand if needed like we did against Rangers/Celtic rather than using the gazebo again.

Would not be surprised at all if that happens.
VincentGuerin
The draw is fair opening up for Hearts here, need to turn up and knock this one out the park. A wee OF cup quarter-final and that door will be wide open to Hampden. No drama, please.

Even if the Old Firm aren't shocked or one eventually puts the other out, it's insurance for more group stage European fitba. Besides, surely if anyone other than them is going to win it from here, it's us.

accies1874
They've learned their lesson from the Arbroath game and started putting away fans up the other side of the main stand, but I'm not sure if they'd do the same if away fans are also getting a stand to themselves at the other end of the stadium as it would likely be a bit more awkward logistically.
cdhafc1874
I'd reckon Hearts will get the North Stand & probably first couple sections of the main stand like Rangers & Celtic got when they came to NDP. Â Accies fans will use turnstiles 1-3 & the segregation to be down the stairs at the radio commentary bit. Â That arrangement makes most sense, if there's demand we could always give Hearts the gazebo as well.
Scotty Tunbridge
Hearts would easily sell out the away stand and gazebo as well as a section of the main stand (same as an old firm visit.) I certainly won’t be there at £25. Edited January 30, 2023 by Scotty Tunbridge

Darren
The Jambos' reward for defeating Hibs 3-0 at Easter is a trip west to Hamilton on Friday 10th February (7.45pm). Gets earlier every year.
