I understand the pandemic meant it was maybe necessary to do something with the fixture list, but surely one of the essences of the Scottish Cup, and what differentiates it from the League Cup, is the away draw and ‘getting them back to your place’. G_&_T Posted March 14, 2023 Share Posted March 14, 2023 I think with the expansion of European competitions, and good old fashioned Scottish weather causing fixture pile ups, we have lost them for good, unfortunately. I do agree that some of my most memorable nights have been at cup replays.
